Terms
These terms cover your use of the 8play apps for iPhone and Android, made by Quyen Dang in Vietnam ("we"). By using an app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Your health comes first
- Our apps are fitness apps, not medical devices, and they do not give medical advice.
- Talk to a doctor before starting a new exercise routine, especially if you have a heart condition or joint problems, are pregnant, or have not exercised in a while.
- Stop right away if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath.
- Exercise in a safe space with room to move, and hold your phone securely. You are responsible for how and where you exercise.
Counts are estimates
The apps count reps from your phone's motion sensors. Counts can be wrong, for example if the phone is held loosely or the movement is small. Do not rely on them where precision matters.
Subscriptions
- KneeClap Premium and JackFit Plus are auto-renewing subscriptions sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country.
- If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel before then.
- A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
- Payments, renewals and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their terms.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the apps on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. Please do not copy, modify, resell, reverse engineer or misuse the apps, except where the law allows it.
If you got an app from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If these terms and Apple's agreement conflict, Apple's agreement wins for the App Store version.
Weekly leaderboard
Each app's leaderboard is optional and free. Choose a display name that is not offensive, does not impersonate anyone and contains no personal details such as your email or phone number. We may hide or remove names, and remove workouts that look automated or impossible. Ranks are for fun; there are no prizes or rewards. While a community is small, its board includes computer-generated players ("pacers") created by us, not other users.

No warranty
The apps are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including that an app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any injury resulting from exercise, arising from your use of an app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using an app after a change, you accept the updated terms.
